Eatonton City Council has awarded the west side streetscape project to Horizon Construction & Associates, the lowest bidder, at $455,626.25. Public schools closed through at least April 24

The news was not completely unexpected but nonetheless a bit disconcerting on Thursday when Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp signed an executive order for all public schools to remain closed through at least April 24, putting students potentially back in the classroom for in-person instruction on April 27 at the earliest.
