SUSAN MOON

April 6, 1945 – July 24, 2018

Susan Moon passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Greensboro, Ga. She was born in Monticello, Ga. on April 6, 1945, to the late James Donald and Katherine Henderson Rogers. 

Ms. Susan enjoyed anything outdoors, especially gardening. She also loved motorcycle riding but her true passion was spending time with her family. She spent most of her life working in the medical profession as a nurse. She is preceded in death by her parents and her son Blake Johnson.

The visitation was held on Friday, July 27, 2018, at 3 p.m., with a service following at 4 p.m. She is survived by her loving husband, Emory Moon; her children, Greg Johnson, Jeff Johnson and Duane Moon; five grandchildren, Kaylee Moon, Brandon Johnson, Sierra (Hunter) Hartley, Rob Johnson and Lauren Johnson; and two great-grandchildren, Hyde Hartley and Whitley Hartley.

Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.

 

GREGORY “GREG” O'BRIAN DAVIS

October 3, 1964 - July 25, 2018

Mr. Gregory “Greg" O'Brian Davis, age 54, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Services were held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday evening, July 31, 2018, at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton. The family received friends from 6 p.m. until the service time.

Mr. Davis was born on October 3, 1964, in Eatonton, Ga. to the late Jacob Reuben "J.R." Davis and the late Lena Bell Barnes Davis. Greg was a native of Putnam County and lived in the area most of his life. He retired from Rheem Manufacturing.

Greg is survived by his daughter, Kelly Davis, of Milledgeville; sister, Linda (Tommy) Copelan, of Eatonton; stepdaughter, Gina Brown, of Milledgeville; grandchild, Karley Davis, of Milledgeville; stepmother, Rev. Carol Davis, of Eatonton; as well as uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
