Mr. Wylie Dillard Blount, Jr.

October 8, 1934- July 20, 2018

Mr. Wylie Dillard Blount Jr., 83, passed away Friday, July 20, 2018.

Wylie was born in Gough, Ga. on October 8, 1934, to the late Nettye McClelland Blount and Wylie Dillard Blount. Wylie graduated from Hapeville High School in Hapeville, Ga. He was a mechanic for Southern Airways where he met his bride of 61 years, Ginger, from Sarasota, Fla. After they both retired, they made Eatonton/Lake Sinclair their permanent home. Wylie was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, loved to fish, boat and thoroughly enjoyed the lake life and the many friends they made. Wylie is preceded in death by his sister Anne Lorraine Bailey of Vidette, Ga.  

Mr. Blount is survived by his wife, Virginia “Ginger” Blount; daughter, Lori Sundal, and husband, Rob, of Dunwoody, Ga.; one granddaughter, Laura Sundal; nephew, Steve Bailey, of Vidette, Ga., and family members.

Gregory Scott DeLoach

August 10, 1995- July 20, 2018

Mr. Gregory Scott DeLoach, 22, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2018.

Funeral services were held on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Philadelphia United Methodist Church in Eatonton.   

Gregory was born in Milledgeville, Ga. on August 10, 1995, to David and Stephanie DeLoach. Gregory lived on Pea Ridge Road all of his life. He was a 2013 graduate of Putnam County High School. He served as Chaplain of The FFA and then served 2 years as president as well as vice president. He enjoyed dairy farming with his family. Gregory was a member of The First United Methodist Church and Philadelphia United Methodist Church of Eatonton.

Gregory is survived by his parents, David and Stephanie DeLoach; brother, Tyler Thomas DeLoach; grandparents, Jimmy and Vickie Bustin, and Clark and Diane DeLoach; Aunts, Beth (Buck) Eubanks, and, Mandy (Kevin) Carnes, Leigh (Tracy) White; uncles, Greg (Amy) DeLoach, and Scott (Carla) DeLoach; as well as several cousins.

Stan Franklin Robertson

July 18, 2018

Stan Franklin Robertson, 50, of Conyers, died Wednesday, July 18, 2018, of Becker Muscular Dystrophy. 

Private funeral services were held.

Mr. Robertson attended Georgia State University with a B.S. degree.  He loved music, movies and especially T.V. He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Robertson, and grandparents, Dee and Delphia James Feagin. 

He is survived by his mother, Becky Robertson; brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Mary Jo Robertson; niece Brandie Robertson, Nephew Zach Robertson.
