Barbara Ann Wallace Crawford

Mrs. Barbara Ann Wallace Crawford, 86, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018.  A Memorial Service was conducted on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the Lake Oconee Lutheran Church.  

Mrs. Crawford was a native of New Castle, PA and had made her home in Milledgeville since 2011 having moved from Snellville.  She was the daughter of the late, William and Edna Smith Wallace. She was preceded in death by a son, David Young and grandson, Blake Young. She was retired as a Credit Specialist from Equifax and was a member of Lake Oconee Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Crawford; son, Robert William Young, both of Lake Sinclair; granddaughter, Jennifer Young; and grandson, Justin Young; sister, Dorethea Silbert of CA; and six great grandchildren.

Orrris Eugene Daniel

January 16, 1956  - June 15, 2018

Mr. Orris Eugene Daniel transitioned to eternal rest Friday, June 15, 2018, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Union Baptist Church, Reverend Johnny Harris serves as pastor, Apostle Joe E. Pennamon officiated. Burial followed in Eastside Eatonton City Cemetery.

Orris was born on January 16, 1956, to the late parents, Mr. Clarence Dunn and Mrs. Orris “Red” Daniel. “Okie”, as he was affectionately known by many family and friends, was a native of Putnam County. He graduated in 1974, in the Putnam County School System. He later relocated to Freehold, NJ. He was employed by Row Construction Company as a mason and laborer. He was also employed by Sunshine Biscuit Company for several years. He returned home to Eatonton, GA, and started his own lawn care business; he really enjoyed manicuring the yards of his clients. Orris accepted Jesus as his Savior and worked faithfully for the Lord. He faithfully attended Disciples of Jesus Christ Outreach, where he served as a devoted Deacon. In addition to his parents, Orris was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Acie Daniel, Jr., one sister, Desiree Daniel, and one daughter, Shaminka Rivera.

Cherishing his memories are daughters, Leslie (Ken) Nelson of Eatonton, GA and Bridget (LaMarcus) Daniel-Evans of Covington, GA; son, Shaun (Tina) Daniel of Ashbury Park, NJ; three sisters, Verlie M. Evans, Patricia D. Dennis, and Cynthia Stokes, all of Eatonton, GA; twelve grandchildren, Cassidy Reaves, Tre’von Miller, Courtney Farley, Tre’on Miller, Kenyon Nelson, La’Marcus Evans, Jr., Kennedi Nelson, La’Meia Evans, Jalen Daniel, Jaidaire Rivera of Virginia Beach, and Jalissa and David Rivera of Toms River, NJ; aunt, Elzora Dunn of Eatonton, GA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Services were entrusted to Bernard's Family Funeral Care, LLC, The Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton, GA 31024.
