Chris Crane
Mr. Christopher "Chris" Daniel Crane, age 31 passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017.
Funeral services were Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church in Milledgeville with Taylor Tom and Dr. Jerry Pickard officiating. Interment followed in Mt. Ararat Methodist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Crane was a native and lifelong resident of Baldwin County.
Survivors include his parents, Danny and Rita Crane of Haddock; a sister, Jennifer Renee Crane of Atlanta; and two brothers, Shane Wright of Eatonton, and Ravi Whadwani of Jacksonville, FL.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you take a friend out to eat.

Jesse Davis Sr.
Jesse Davis Sr., age 55 of Haddock, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his residence.
Graveside services will be at 11am Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Amy’s Creek Baptist Church in Clarkesville with Levi Nix officiating. Family visitation will be at Vining Ivy Hill from 6pm to 8pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017.
Jesse was born in Toccoa to the late John B. and Annie Holcomb Davis. He had lived in Jones County for most of his life and enjoyed hunting, but his passion was spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by a half-brother, Joe Davis.
Survivors include his children, Jesse (Amanda) Davis of Eatonton, Kyle (Megan) Davis of Monticello, and Amber (David) Marshall of Macon; three sisters, Helen (Olen) Simmons of Mt. Airy, Jane (Mark) Huneycutt of Albemarle, NC and Ann (Darryl) Harrison of Cornelia; three brothers, John (Dinah) Davis of Hayesville, NC, Don Davis of Eatonton and Mark Davis, Sr. of Haddock; three half-sisters, Linda (James) Garrett and Debbie (Lamar) Whitfield, both of Clarkesville and Ruby (Johnny) Turner of Raleigh, NC; a half-brother, Ross (Lee) Davis of Clarkesville; three step-grandchildren Tyler and Jayden Mathis and Hunter Fullmore and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Vining Ivy Hill Chapel to help with funeral expenses.

Robert William Newland, Sr.

Robert William “Bob” Newland, Sr., 87, of Eatonton, GA, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2017. He was born in Trout Lake, Michigan on February 23, 1930 to the late Martin William and Flaurence Bell House Newland. Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a charter member and Deacon of Lake Country Baptist Church. Bob was preceded in death his two brothers, two sisters, and his parents.
He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 65 years, Donie Newland; son, Robert (Patty) Newland, Jr., of Tyrone, GA; daughters, Mrs. Diane Benton of Stockbridge and Jana Newland of Hampton; brother, Richard (Pat) Newland of Detour Village, Michigan; granddaughter, Ivy Newland of Tyrone; grandson, Will (Chiara) Newland of Alpharetta; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Sunday, November 19, 2017 at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Dr. B. Carlisle Driggers officiating. Burial followed the service at College Park Cemetery, College Park.
