William Alvin Cargile

William Alvin Cargile, age 68 of Godfrey, died August 10, 2017.
Funeral services were Monday, August 14, 2017 at Antioch Baptist Church, with interment in the church cemetery.
Billy Cargile was born January 2, 1949 in Madison to Buck and Ruth Hawkins Cargile. He was married to Josephine and was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam. Mr. Cargile then spent his career working for AT&T. After retirement, he has stayed busy as a jack-of-all-trades. He enjoyed HAM radio and was a member of the Piedmont Amateur Radio Emergency Service. Mr. Cargile was a member of Godfrey Methodist Church. He enjoyed water and snow skiing and watching Nascar.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Cargile; a son, Will Cargile; a granddaughter, Mandie Cargile; two sisters-in-law, Jeraldine “Dean” Williams & Jesse and Sue Whitaker & Alan; two brothers-in-law, Johnny Mashburn & Carrie Jo and Larry Mashburn & Sandra.
A.E. Carter Funeral Home of Madison had charge of arrangements.
 

Michael Hallman
December 27, 1952 - August 23, 2017
Michael Hallman age 64, of Eatonton passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2017.
Memorial services were Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Vining Ivy Hill in Eatonton.
Michael was born in Eatonton December 27, 1952 to the late William David Hallman and Retha Guyton West. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include six brothers, Mitchel Hallman (Ruby) of Eatonton, David Hallman (Jan) of Greensboro, Steve Pinson of Greensboro, Billy West (Susan), Michael West, Jimmy West (Terry), all of North Carolina, and a niece, Deidra Hallman of Eatonton.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel had charge of the arrangements.
 

Jeremy Williams
September 28, 1981 - August 24, 2017
Jeremy Williams, age 35, of Eatonton passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017.
Funeral services were held Sunday, August 27 at First United Methodist Church, with burial following in Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
Jeremy was born September 28, 1981 in Eatonton to James Walter Williams and Maise Key. Jeremy loved music and was a passionate piano player and singer.
Survivors include his mother, Maise (Coleman) Hadden, father Jimmy (Vikki) Williams; a brother, Jericho Williams; a niece, Hannah Williams and a nephew, Wyatt Williams, all of Eatonton.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel had charge of the arrangements.
