Dale Eugene Graves
November 24, 1932 - July 28, 2017
Mr. Dale Eugene Graves, age 84, of 279 Possum Point Drive, Eatonton, Georgia transitioned to eternal rest Friday, July 28, 2017 at Eatonton Health and Rehabilitation Center.
A service of love and celebration will be held at 2pm Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Redemption Holiness Tabernacle, 931 North Jefferson Street, Milledgeville, GA with Brother Bobby Colter officiating. Interment will be private.
Dale was born November 24, 1932 in Newton, Illinois to the late Claude and Elizabeth Resh Graves. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University where he earned an Associates Degree in Technological Science. Dale was employed for many years by Shaheens Office Supply as a business machines repairman. On February 12, 1977, Dale entered into holy matrimony to Gwendolyn Joyce Colter Graves and for the next forty years they loved the Lord, their union he blessed, and remained dedicated to each other until he went home to be with his lord and Savior.
Survivors include his wife, Gwendolyn Joyce Graves; a brother, Donald Graves (Mary) of Warner Robins; special devoted friend, Richard Lee Bowman and a host of other relatives and friends.

Eugene Hill
August 3, 1934 - July 10, 2017
Eugene “Bro” Hill, age 82 died Monday, July 10, 2017.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Clements Chapel Methodist Church in Eatonton.
Eugene was born August 3, 1934 in Eatonton and was the son of the late Jim Henry Hill and the late Carrie P. Hill. He attended the Putnam County school system. Eugene was a selfless person with a generous heart, he sowed the love of God that he had within him to anyone in need, whether it was shelter from the cold or food for a weary soul. He always held his friends up with the utmost respect and for this, everyone loved and respected him. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Gwendlyn Goolby; two sons, Marvin B. Hill, Terry Hill and a daughter, Anita Joyce Hill-Johnson.
Survivors include two sons, Clayton Hill and Gregory Hill; a sister, Mildred Moss; two brothers, Henry Hill Jr. and Arthur Hill, all of Eatonton; three grandaughters, Mistie Hill of Eatonton, Shelby Jackson and Vanita Hill, both of Atlanta; four grandsons, Mario Hill of Eatonton, Clayton McLeroy, Raymond McLeroy and Marvin B. Anderson III, all of Atlanta; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Gail Hill; several other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and family.

Stella Louise Scott
April 25, 1950 - July 25, 2017
Stella Louise Scott, age 67 died Tuesday, July 25, 2017.
Funeral services were Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Pinkerton Grove Baptist Church in Eatonton.
Stella attended Butler Baker School and worked for Crooked Creek Marina. She was an awesome woman of God and it reflected in her professional life, where she was well respected for over thirty years on the job. Spiritually, Stella was devoted to her Lord and Savior as she served at Pinkerton Grove Baptist Church until her health began to fail. Stella was an avid fisher-woman. If you could not find her, you knew she was on a river bank enjoying her peace and God.
Survivors include her significant other, George Johnson; her son, David Scott Sr.; three sisters, Doris Scott, Mary Scott Webb and Gloria (James) Little; grandchildren, one of whom she raised as her own, Shaneese Scott; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Betty Jean Hallman Waldroup
January 17, 1950 - July 27, 2017
Mrs. Betty Jean Hallman Waldroup, age 67 passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017.
Funeral services were Tuesday, August 1, 2017 in the chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton.
Mrs. Waldroup was was born January 17, 1950 and was a life long resident of Putnam County. She was the daughter of the late Clark Clifton Hallman and the late Ebba Louise Richards Hallman. Mrs. Waldroup was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was devoted to her family and a very giving person.
Survivors include two daughters, Nita Fox of Commerce and Chasity Waldroup of Eatonton; five sons, Jimmy Fowler of Kansas, Ray Waldroup, David Waldroup, Tommy Waldroup and Chris Waldroup, all of Eatonton; a sister, Michelle Martinez of Nebraska; 25 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
