The man charged with murdering an Eatonton woman was denied bond by Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Superior Court Judge E. Trenton Brown III Tuesday.

Frank Don Causey, 26, was charged Dec. 20 with one count murder of 63-year-old Lydia Huggins Ivanditti. She was found dead in her Walnut Street home Dec. 2 by a family member.

Ivanditti’s family, including her daughter Julia McKelvey, mother Maureen Huggins, brother Fred Huggins, granddaughter Victoria Huggins, sister Doria Alecksen and others, were all seated together at the bond hearing in Putnam County Superior Court Tuesday.

“My sister was a victim and we’re here to stand by our judicial system and see that justice is done for her,” her brother said.
