Mrs. Ruby Lee “Tiny” Andrews, 62, of 898 Church Street, Eatonton, departed this life Monday, June 3, 2019, in Eatonton at her residence.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 8, at Greater Bells Chapel Baptist Church, 670 Oconee Springs Road, Eatonton. Rev. Gregory Ellison, pastor and Rev. Eddie Presley, pastor of Jones Grove Baptist Church, officiated and presented her eulogy. Her remains were interred in the church cemetery.
Tiny was born Dec. 19, 1956, to parents the late Mrs. Marvelene Reid (Freddie Jr.) and the late John Henry Mosley. She was a lifelong resident of Eatonton. Tiny was known for her cooking skills. She worked in many settings during her lifetime, with the latest being a cook at Putnam General Hospital. She was a member of Jones Groves Baptist Church but enjoyed fellowship with many churches. She married her lifelong love, Gregory Andrews, on March 19, 2008; they shared life together for 37 years. She graduated from Putnam County High School in 1974. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one brother, Larry.
Tiny, a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, daughter-in-law and friend leaves to not only cherish her memories but celebrate her life: her husband, Gregory; daughters, Toya, Carla and Felicia; sons, Deon, Daryl (Krista) and Daniel Bo Bo; siblings, Shirley (Pie), Dianne, Barbara (Dwight), Connie, Lisa and Stanley; 17 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three aunts, Sherry, Theodora and Willie Mae (Alvin); four uncles, Bruce, Johnny, John T. and Bennie Sr.; a devoted mother-in-law, Mrs. Mildred; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Joyce) and Hilton; stepmother, Lois; and many other relatives and wonderful friends.
