Martha Glenn, 83, of Eatonton, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Monday, Dec. 17, 2018. Martha was born in Poland on July 27, 1935 to the late Herman and Olga Janse Hase. She has lived in Eatonton since 1979. Martha was a Polish survivor of the Holocaust. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Cecil Everett Glenn.
Martha enjoyed going to casinos, watching television and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her son William Perkins Glenn, grandchildren William Eric Glenn, William Seth Glenn (Kerrie Thompson), Paul Jacob Glenn (Natalie), Desire Hall (Christopher), great grandchildren Blake, Dakota, Dexter, Paizley Glenn, Leo, Enzo Hall, Nicholas Reed, Savannah MacDonald. She is also survived by her sister of love Irene Tesch, cousins Kathy Hammock (Rick), Debbie Sidbury (Woody), Kevin Tesch (Cindy), Sheri Peters, Brenda Tesch, Derek Tesch, Tami Jerles (Matthew) and Dana Tesch (Tony).
Visitation was at Lake Oconee Lutheran Church on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 at 10 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m.
Interment was at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Rd., Augusta, Georgia at 2 p.m.
The family requests donations be made to Lake Oconee Lutheran Church in her memory.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
