Ms. Lillie Mae Farley, 61, of 121 Oconee Meadow Lane, Eatonton, Ga., departed this life Friday, Jan. 18, 2019 at Oconee Regional Medical Center in Milledgeville, Ga.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 100 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton. Rev. Matthew Dennis, Jr., Pastor, officiated and presented her eulogy. Lillie was interred on her family’s plot in Eastside Eatonton City Cemetery.

Lillie Mae “Tuit” Farley was born Jan. 14, 1958 in Putnam County, Eatonton, Gato. the parentage of the late Albert Farley, Sr., and the late Lou Ella “Polly” Farley. Lillie was the fourth of six children. She attended the Butler-Baker School in Eatonton. She joined Ebenezer Baptist Church at an early age. She gained employment at McGaw Laboratory and Georgia Pacific, where she worked many years. She later became self-employed as a Home Healthcare Assistant. She loved shopping and, most of all, making people laugh. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by John T. Nelson, Lonnie Frank Nelson, Holly Nelson, Lonnie “Toolie” Nelson, Carrie Collins, Agnes Slappy, Albert “Bro” Farley, Noah Farley, Keithsa Cloud and Harold Farley.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memories two sons, Donnell Farley and Corprinicus Farley; two brothers, Melvin Farley and Freddie Lee Farley; two sisters, Joann Mathis and Wyvonia (Charles) Thomas; one uncle, Calvin Nelson; five aunts, Mary Alice Horne, Bernice White, Frances Little, Mary Farley and Retha Farley; grandchildren, Camyia Farley, Jayden Mason, Tyreion Card, Carmen Butts and Camden Mathis; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Don Adams, Mrs. Mary Black, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin (Debra) Cobb, Ms. Floria Dorsey, Ms. Mary Swain, and Minister Calvin Waller; loving and devoted cousins, Mrs. Barbara (Donell) Pennamon, Mrs. Lavonia Rollins, Ms. Sanchez Slappy and a host of other relatives and friends.
