JoAnne Hall, 85, of Eatonton, passed away on Aug. 25, 2019, at her residence.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2019 at 11:00 am at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
Ms. Joanne was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, to the late Douglas and Ruth Hallman Spencer. She had lived in Eatonton for 40 years after retiring from Southern Bell. She was a very creative and artistic person, having the talents for being a seamstress, doing cross stitch, as well as, building doll houses. She was even featured in The Eatonton Messenger with one she had made and was raffled off to benefit a neighbor’s son. She enjoyed fixing up her yard with flowers, in order to attract numerous types of birds.
She is survived by her daughters, Karen (James) Watts of Austell, Donna Bryant of Eatonton, Janice Hall of Alpharetta; two grandchildren, Melissa Connealy and Monica Mantooth; and three great-grandchildren, Paige Conneally and Miles and Maddox Mantooth.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
