Mr. Eugene Harper Jr., 60, of 119 Nicks Way, Eatonton, departed this life Thursday, August 22, 2019, in Macon at Coliseum Medical Center.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 31, 2019, from Zion Covenant Fellowship in Eatonton. Rev. Fred Lowe served as Pastor; Evangelist Lisa Jackson presented the eulogy. Interment followed in Eastside Eatonton City Cemetery.

Eugene was born Jan. 21, 1959, in Milledgeville to parents Mamie Harper and the late Eugene Harper Sr. Eugene, fondly known as “Sneaky,” attended public schools in Putnam County. He was employed at Rock Eagle for 30 years. “Sneaky” was kind, funny and loving. He enjoyed watching TV, listening to the latest music and making people laugh. He also enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family. Sneaky was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, John Williams; three sisters, Pearl, Mary and Martha; and his life companion, Darlene Andrews.

He leaves to cherish his memories three devoted sons, Brendrell Harper (Nakeisha), Tony Andrews (Belinda) and Tommy Crutchfield; his mother, Mamie Harper; two sisters, Faye Harper and Lyne Harper; his mother-in-law, Frances Andrews; three sisters-in-law, Clemitha Blue, Shelia Monroe (Jeffery) and Angela Hyman (Zebedee); three brothers-in-law, Darrell Andrews, Larry Andrews, and Stanley Andrews (Joyce); eight grandchildren, Jaylin Harper, Paisley Harper, Drake Andrews, Keontae Andrews, Sequoyah Andrews and Quintonyius Waymon; devoted nieces and nephews, Erica White, Kiara Powell, Eriona White, London Little, Logan Andrews, Jarvis Powell and Dontavisus Griffin; devoted cousin, Cheeko McMullins (Dan); and devoted friends, James Nelson (Screw), Larry Andrews and Rock Eagle Staff.

Services were entrusted to Bernard’s Family Funeral Care LLC, The Eatonton Chapel, 103 Willie Bailey Street, Eatonton.
