Dianne Strickland Johnson, 74, of Milledgeville, GA, passed away Friday, December 20,2019.

Dianne was born October 18,1945, in Rochelle, GA, to the late Fanise Sapp Strickland and Marvin Dean Strickland. Dianne attended school in Perry, GA and Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, FL. She was a talented artist and chef. She moved from Atlanta in 1992 and was co-founder of the Antebellum Inn with her sister, Debbie Strickland Thompson. She was well known for her culinary dishes and hospitality at the Inn. She also managed Peaceful Pet Crematory where she enjoyed giving comfort to people who had lost their pets. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Whit Alexander Johnson of Atlanta, GA.
Dianne is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Powell Robinson; sisters, Kathy Strickland Middleton (Eddie) of Acworth and Debbie Strickland Thompson (Hill) of Milledgeville/ Eatonton; brother, Ronald Otis Strickland of Warner Robins; her grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cat, Maggie.
