Greene couple arrested for marijuana

On Thursday, Aug. 26, the Greene County Sheriff's Office investigators executed a search warrant at the residence of Thomas Eugene and Tracey M. Eleazer. The above residence is located at 1251 Brannon Dr, Greensboro.

A thorough search of the residence was conducted, which resulted in the confiscation of marijuana, postal scales which are used to weigh marijuana for sell and a moderate amount of seeds used to grow marijuana. As a result, both Thomas and Tracey Eleazer was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. These arrests resulted from information received from another law enforcement agency regarding the Eleazer's recent arrest in Walton County for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

The Eleazers are currently being held in the Greene County Detention Center pending bond.
